Web Summit 2021: European IP Helpdesk team attending one of the largest technology events in the world

As representatives of the European IP Helpdesk, Eurice is attending Web Summit 2021 in Lisbon, Portugal. Each year, Web Summit brings together attendees from the global high technology industry, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. The conference focusses on such diverse topics as internet technology, emerging technologies, and venture capitalism. This is the first in-person event for the European IP Helpdesk team since spring 2020.

At a joint stand with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the European IP Helpdesk team is part of a larger representation of the European Commission at the conference. In line with the Helpdesk’s overarching goal of intellectual property (IP) capacity building, the team is offering support to conference attendees in regards to IP.

In 2021, more than 42,750 people are attending the event.
