First In-Person Annual Plenary Meeting for the HIPPOCRATES Consortium
Between the 5th and 6th of September, the HIPPOCRATES Annual meeting took place at the Novartis campus in Basel, Switzerland. This was the first opportunity to meet the whole consortium face to face. The Eurice team were delighted to meet up with the other partners in the HIPPOCRATES project and had two successful and productive meeting days. It was a great pleasure to also welcome many of the Patient Research Partners (PRPs) in person at the meeting. A specific PRP workshop provided the opportunity to discuss their experiences in the project and to explore certain aspects in more detail as to what they would like to implement, communicate or change within the HIPPOCRATES project.
While one aim of the meeting was to finally get to know each other, the two days were also used to share information on the progress made so far. This included defining the next steps in the technical Work Packages as well as the key action points for the next months and also the true importance of working closely with all PRPs and EFPIA partners. On day 1, a total of six simultaneous Work Package Satellite sessions provided an opportunity for all Work Package members to discuss and brainstorm on different topics. The meeting closed with a detailed summary and a HIPPO award ceremony for those who have particularly contributed to the project within the first year.
We are looking forward to another successful project year.
