HORIZON2020 FET Open Project APRICOT: European Commission Commends Eurice for Excellent Work in the Dissemination and Exploitation of Project Results
Now almost at the halfway mark, the Horizon2020 FET Open research project APRICOT is well underway. In its latest review, the European Commission commended the excellent work of Eurice in leading the dissemination and exploitation activities of the project results. The Eurice team have not only maximised APRICOT’s impact but are also advising partners on how to actively protect any associated Intellectual Property.
The Innovation Radar Exercise during the review meeting, in particular, received high praise, and Aurora Medical Ltd was identified as an EC Key Innovator.
Eurice is one of seven partners in the HORIZON2020 FET Open project APRICOT, which aims to develop a radically new type of implant for the treatment of osteoarthritis of small joints in the hand. The treatment is minimally invasive, does not remove healthy bone, is suitable for patients of all ages, and does not require the use of general anaesthetic.
To pave the way for successfully exploiting project results, EURICE guides consortia in identifying, capturing, protecting and nurturing the Intellectual Property (IP) generated in research collaborations. Thus, Eurice accompanies researchers and innovative companies through the entire life cycle of a project – from the first idea to successful project completion – and beyond.
