As the five-year QSolid project enters its final year, the consortium has released a new video highlighting the most significant achievements from across its work packages. In the video, representatives from the project partners reflect on their major successes and contributions to advancing Germany’s quantum computing ecosystem.
The featured achievements span the entire quantum computing stack, including breakthroughs in superconducting qubit technologies, scalable quantum processor fabrication, cryogenic and room-temperature control electronics, quantum error correction and mitigation, optimal control, software and application development, HPC integration, and system engineering. Together, these accomplishments demonstrate the progress made towards building scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing systems. The video also illustrates the strong collaboration between research institutions, industry partners, and technology providers that has characterised QSolid throughout its duration.
