BATTERY 30+ is a European large-scale research initiative reinventing the way we invent batteries to strengthen Europe’s global leadership in battery technologies by accelerating the development of strategic, disruptive solutions. The initiative supports a competitive European battery value chain—based on clean energy and circular economy principles—contributing to the EU’s goal of climate neutrality under the European Green Deal.
Bringing together key stakeholders from across battery research and innovation, BATTERY 2030+ drives coordinated actions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the European Battery Action Plan and the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan).
From 7-8 May, the initiative will hold its 6th Annual Meeting in Turin/Italy, boasting a fully-packed conference programme with presentations from industry, keynote talks, young scientists’ sessions and lots of opportunity for the Battery research community to engage in meaningful discussions, advancing green innovation in this field.
