The European Commission has pre-published a set of forthcoming Horizontal Activities 2026–2027, which will complement the current Horizon Europe work programmes. A strong emphasis is expected on biodiversity, with important links to areas such as sustainable food systems, bioeconomy, environmental protection, ecosystem restoration, and climate resilience.
These upcoming funding opportunities are particularly relevant for stakeholders across the FOOD & NATURE innovation ecosystem of the EURICE Group, including researchers, innovators, businesses, public authorities, and civil society organisations working to advance sustainable and nature-positive solutions.
The German National Contact Point (NCP) for Bioeconomy and Environment, together with other relevant National Contact Points, offers a webinar to provide an overview of the planned topics and funding opportunities under the future NATURE Call, helping participants understand upcoming priorities and identify potential opportunities for collaboration and project development.
The webinar will take place on 21 July 2026 from 13:00 to 15:00 CEST (in German).
Participation is free of charge; however, registration is required.
