What the project is about
PERISCOPE aims to accelerate the development of improved vaccines against Bordetella pertussis (whooping cough) and/or vaccination strategies that will be used to control B. pertussis in humans. PERISCOPE will develop novel functional antibody and cellular assays and employs cutting-edge methods to characterise innate immune responses and cell-mediated systemic and mucosal immunity.
