What the project is about
INCREASE aims to develop efficient and effective conservation tools and methods to foster agricultural biodiversity in Europe by improving the management and use of genetic resources on food legumes, which are crucial for sustainability, food security and human health. Working with four important food legumes (chickpea, common bean, lentil, lupin), INCREASE aims to expand the utilisation of genetic resources (GenRes) targeting users’ needs in terms of accessibility, quality and quantity of the information available.
