What the project is about

The overall vision of BRESOV is to tackle the nutritional challenges posed by a growing world population by enhancing productivity of different vegetable crops in an organic and sustainable farming infrastructure. Genetic variations of important staple vegetable crops such as brassicas, snap beans and tomatoes will be cultivated with the overall aim to detect resilient and efficient cultivars increasing resource use efficiency and productivity in organic agriculture by exploiting up-to-date knowledge of genome structure and function.
