What the project is about

B-SMART aims at designing and manufacturing modular nanoparticles via a quality-by-design protocol. These nanoparticles shall serve to deliver therapeutic RNAs to the brain and treat neurodegenerative diseases. B-SMART expects to arrive at a scale-able nanoparticle formulation with uniform characteristics that shows a strong pre-clinical evidence of therapeutic efficacy and is ready for clinical translation.
