Register now: PneumoNP workshop on novel approaches to fight bacteria
The PneumoNP project will host its 1st workshop “Novel approaches to fight bacteria: From understanding the crossing of membrane barrier to the development of new nanotechnology-based drugs”. It will take place from July 10, 2016 to July 14, 2016 on Campus Center, Jacobs University Bremen, Germany.
The event addresses scientists and institutions interested in EU-funded research in the field of novel drug development and will in particular focus on nanoencapsulation, mass-spectrometry and fluorescence, in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo animal models, translation to clinical development, impact of porin structure on antibiotic permeability and efflux pumps. It will consist of various interdisciplinary presentations as well as poster sessions and is jointly organised by the projects PneumoNP, NAREB, FORMAMP as well as the IMI-initiative TRANSLOCATION.
Eurice is a partner in PneumoNP, which develops a theragnostic system for the treatment of Gram-negative bacterial infections in lungs.
