Innovation à la Carte at the EIC Innovators’ Summit 2018

Creativity, entertainment and Europe's most thrilling innovators: The European Innovation Council (EIC)'s first Innovators' Summit will take place in Berlin on September 10-11. The invite-only event will bring together 1000 top SMEs, investors, corporate representatives, researchers and influencers serving as an exceptional networking platform to exchange experiences and explore new business opportunities. The slogan "Innovation Kitchen Europe" promises a two-day gourmet menu of engaging keynotes, curated workshops and enticing pitching sessions under an overall atmosphere of entrepreneurship and creativity. Invited speakers and guests include the Director General Research and Innovation of the European Commission, Jean-Eric Paquet and Member of the European Parliament Eva Kaili as well as the founders and leadership circle of distinguished enterprises including Iberdrola, P&G, Airbus and Balderton Capital.
As one of the expert speakers, Eurice CEO Jörg Scherer was invited to contribute to a workshop on prospecting licence opportunities and closing licence deals on Tuesday, 11 September, 11.30 AM to 1 PM. In his keynote entitled "Best practice in technology license agreement", he will pay particular attention to practical examples of successful tech licensing strategies, tools and support services reflecting the EIC project life-cycle phases. In the subsequent Q&A session "How to make the most of IP in the EIC", the audience will get the chance to address open points and enter into discussion with all speakers of the session.
