Hard work paying off: Eurice among Top-10 SMEs in Europe
First Horizon 2020 Monitoring Report by the European Commission
Out of the more than 15,000 international SMEs participating in Horizon 2020, Eurice has reached the Top-10 regarding the number of project participations. The new official report published by the European Commission covers 101 call deadlines closed in 2014 with 36,139 unique applicants worldwide. It thereby identifies the most important facts as measured by the Key Performance Indicators, implementation aspects and participation trends in Horizon 2020. With 9 participations Eurice ranks first among all German SMEs.
Recently, the number of Horizon 2020 projects Eurice is involved in has grown to a total of 13. “The quantity and scope of the projects we participate in has made us a reliable partner in Horizon 2020. We are proud to actively contribute to European innovation and research and will continue to expand our expertise and service portfolio” says Jörg Scherer, Managing Director of Eurice.
With its dedicated budget of around EUR 75 billion over seven years, Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever. The monitoring report will be published annually. To view the full document, please visit:
