What makes a successful proposal? Eurice hosts 2nd Workshop & Networking Event
On 26 October 2017, the second edition of the Workshop & Networking Event series “Berlin meets Horizon” took place at the Eurice facilities in Berlin-Mitte. Our team welcomed participants from various local institutions to discuss the crucial question “What makes a successful proposal?”.
The Eurice experts presented a list of ingredients that will make a difference when proposing your project idea:
- Impact (expected & other impacts, measures to maximise impact)
- Implementation (creating a work package structure for your project, defining deliverables & milestones, consortium management, budget & financial aspects, critical risks)
- Horizontal issues (open access, data management, ethics)
- Practical tips & lessons learned
After the launch of the event series with a first workshop dedicated to general aspects and initial challenges in Horizon 2020, the second workshop continued with more specific steps for turning your idea into an EU funded project. At the same time, participants had the opportunity to network and directly share their thoughts and questions.
Our event series aims to provide you with first-hand information and practical advice on the highly competitive EU framework programme. The workshop came just in time to be prepared for the new funding opportunities. Only one day later, the EC released the final work programme of Horizon 2020 for the remaining period 2018-2020 with more than EUR 30 billion funding available.
We warmly invite you to join us for the next session:
Workshop III “Horizon 2020: Maximising impact” (30 November 2017, 4-6 PM + Networking)
