Help fighting climate change
ENTRACTE project releases animated short film
Preventing dangerous climate change is one of the top priorities of the European Union. Europe is working hard to cut its greenhouse gas emissions and to help fighting climate change.
The EU research project ENTRACTE ‘Economic iNsTRuments to Achieve Climate Targets in Europe’ aims at identifying a feasible climate policy mix to achieve long-term greenhouse gas reduction targets in Europe. The project assesses the EU's climate portfolio paying special attention to the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and its interaction with additional policy instruments.
The ENTRACTE consortium has produced an animated short film to provide the public with a better understanding of its research work and raising awareness on the topic. The ENTRACTE film is now available on the project website: www.entracte-project.eu/film.
Eurice as the management and dissemination partner in ENTRACTE was responsible for the concept and implementation of the film in close cooperation with the coordinating institution ZEW and the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, Institute for Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction.
