CUPESSE Progress and Strategy Meeting held in Prague, Czech Republic

The team of the University of Economics (VSE) Prague welcomed the CUPESSE consortium on their premises for a two-days meeting on February 12-13, 2015. Besides the partner institutions we were delighted to welcome Giorgos Bithymitris from Panteion University, a new member of the CUPESSE Policy Advisory Board.

The meeting focused namely on one crucial part of the project, the survey on youth unemployement and related issues. Vivid and fruitful discussions took place in small groups among the consortium members on the content and outline of the questionnaire underpinning the survey. The meeting yielded an agreement on the survey implementation strategy, the survey modes, the individual questions and the steps to be taken for CUPESSE within the next few months.

Thanks to the commitment of the local organisers, the CUPESSE partners had the chance to enjoy Czech traditions and to have a sightseeing tour through the Golden City of Prague.

The next consortium meeting will be held in June 2015 at the University of Vienna, Austria.

CUPESSE is funded under the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission. It will run for four years and will be financed with nearly 5 million Euros.

Eurice is managing partner of CUPESSE and thus contributes to the successful implementations of the project goals.
