Final Stretch for the MultiBioPro Consortium
On September 3-4, 2015, the MultiBioPro Consortium came together at ETH Zurich, one of the project partners, to sound the bell for the last year of the project duration. According to international rankings like QS World University Ranking, ETH Zurich is one of the 20 best universities in the world – even Albert Einstein taught here as professor from 1912-1914.
During this annual project meeting, the partners informed each other about developments towards the MultiBioPro objectives and all the work being done thus far. Bilateral discussions between the different partners as well as common discussion have set all requirements for a successful last year of the project. In the presence of two Scientific Advisory Board members from Philip Morris International, further common publications and potential outputs from the project have been discussed.
Day two of the conference was devoted to ensuring a proper exploitation of all project results. An exploitation strategy workshop initiated by project partner Eurice focused on central issues of IP management, and discussed key exploitable results as well as the way forward towards an optimal use of project outcomes. The consortium has established first contacts with potential industrial collaborators and will continue to assess the marketability of MultiBioPro products.
With the final MultiBioPro conference tentatively being held in September 2016, all project partners will now make sure that all activities are successfully finalized within the next twelve months – the results will then also be presented in a public part of the final meeting.
Eurice is the management partner of MultiBioPro and contributes to the successfull administrative coordination of the project and dissemination of the project's output.
